AI’s future is guaranteed but is yours?
The business world is transforming at an unprecedented rate, requiring all executives to accelerate the journey of continuous learning.
Digitisation, AI adoption and the use of disruptive technologies in the workplace are gathering pace.
Over the past year alone, we have seen massive shifts in customer behaviour and our ways of working fuelled by AI and disruptive technology and an increasing reliance on digital.
McKinsey forecasts estimate that 350 million jobs globally will be changed significantly in the wake of disruptive technologies, and that 75 million of these will go unfilled due to a lack of available trained professionals to do the work. By 2022, 42% of the core skills required to perform existing jobs are expected to change, and one billion people will need to be reskilled by 2030 (Source: OECD).
The next decade will therefore bring fundamental changes to our world. To successfully adapt, leaders and their teams in every industry and every part of the world will need to enhance or acquire new skills and pivot to stay relevant.
