Richard Chiumento


Director of Rialto Consultancy and expert in High Performance Organisations, Richard has 22 + years experience working with Senior Leadership teams to originate strategy and build more adaptive organisations. He is a highly acclaimed and well-respected practitioner in his field, listed in Cambridge Who's Who of Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs, Strathmore’s Who's Who for Global Leadership & Achievements in Management Consulting and recently recognised as Professional of the Year within the Global HR consulting profession.

During his successful career, he has made nine major career changes including a move from strategic HR to line management, and periods in sales, marketing and commercial roles. He has operated at Main Board level for 18 + years.


Mike Fagan

Finance Director & Company Secretary

Mike is a chartered management accountant who holds a number of executive and non-executive roles within a number of fast-growing businesses in the technology and professional services sectors.

He has been Director of Finance at Rialto since 2006, where he is responsible for financial management and administration.

Following a successful exit from his telecommunications business in 1998, Mike has been advising businesses on fund-raising, business planning, strategic development and financial management with a particular focus on building towards a high value exit route. He has taken the lead role in acquisitions, disposals, and company reconstructions as well as the management of complex customer and supply-side contracts.

John O’Sullivan

Non Executive Chairman

John is a successful entrepreneur with a leadership background in staffing and recruitment. He has worked as a director for several of the top global staffing companies and founded Best International Group which grew to £130million turnover in 18 months.

As a Director for Rialto, he contributes to the overall corporate strategy and continues his reputation for creating shareholder value in fast growing environments.

Chris Brooks

Christopher is a deeply experienced and versatile customer experience consultant possessing over 15 years of putting the customer first. It’s a passion with power which has attracted the interests of clients including RSA, The Co-Operative Bank, Visa, Sony, Park Inn Hotels, UCL, Ladbrokes Coral, William Hill and Syngenta as well as engagement with world leading Customer Experience academics.

Christopher writes the ‘CX Leaders Interview’ series for the CX Magazine, as well as publishes the monthly ‘Customer’s World update’ bulletin. He also regularly speaks on CX topics at industry events, guest lectures (including The International University of Monaco) as well as holding significant roles as a judge at several Customer Strategy Awards.

Christina Campbell

Following a successful career of over 18 years in executive search, Christina made the decision to change her career focus to executive career transition. 

Christina’s career in executive search included working at Spencer Stuart where she recruited globally at Board and SVP level for blue chip clients across Industrial, Consumer and Life Sciences businesses. She has experience of working with FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 groups, as well as smaller companies and PE backed groups.  Her functional experience includes general management, operations, supply chain, procurement, finance and HR. 

For the last 8 years Christina has capitalised on the vast networks of headhunters in large and small firms as well as the relationships she has built across industry to support select executives to understand and reposition their personal brand thus enabling them to seek out greater and/or more diverse challenges in their career.

Alistair Denton

Alistair has predominantly worked in the private sector throughout his career including 13 years in a Worldwide IT Product and Services organisation, and 15 years for a SaaS Technology Start up where he launched, grew and sold the business to a International Leader in Pre Paid Solutions.

He has led Corporate, Private Equity backed and start up businesses with the UK, Europe and the US. He has also held senior positions in HR, Marketing, Sales and Business Development during his career.

Alistair has an MBA from Brunel University, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Jan Floyd-Douglass FInstLM FRSA

Jan’s career over the past 25 years has comprised senior corporate roles including Head of Zurich Corporate Pensions, Global Sales Director and Executive Committee member, Barclays Private Bank and Resident Vice President, Consumer Lending, Citibank. Her role accountabilities have included global strategic and propositional development, leading and embedding significant change programmes and the planning, delivery and evaluation of high growth and turnaround strategies.

Jan is a qualified Level 7 Executive Coach and Leadership Mentor (from the Institute of Leadership and Management, Europe’s leading awarding body), and a Fellow of ILM. She has been recognised as one of100 Best Global Coaching Leaders Awardby the World HRD Congress.

Tony Dutton

Having held country and regional CEO positions in Consumer Healthcare, Veterinary Pharmaceuticals, and Medical Nutrition businesses, Tony Dutton is now an experienced executive coach and private equity investment advisor.  He has specific expertise in country general management, as well as in international brand marketing and has lived and worked in Switzerland, Brazil, Australia and the UK.

John Grisby

John has extensive experience working in and with entrepreneurial driven enterprise at varying stages of growth inducing; helping UK entrepreneur of the year (1999) Mark Dixon’s Regus Plc (UK) expand in Europe/South America (mid-stage enterprise to IPO), a traditional Family owned (ESP) Spanish publishing house expand internationally (UK/US), Co-Founders of Fifty Lessons (UK), a digital education content producer build start-up structure to eventual international expansion and M&A (US).

John is a Professor of Management Practice at University of Bedfordshire Business School. He develops, designs and delivers on the part-time Executive MBA programme (UK/Europe/Middle East), presents guest lectures and consults for the Innovation & Enterprise unit.

Vlatka Hlupic

Professor Hlupic is a respected leadership and management consultant and has advised major international organisations including the House of Commons, GlaxoSmithKline, BP, Learndirect, Brand Velocity USA, the Drucker Institute USA, Croatian Government and the Hungarian National Bank. She is an international award-winning thought leader, and an author of a ground-breaking book 'The Management Shift - How to Harness the Power of People and Transform Your Organization for Sustainable Success' (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014), listed by Forbes as one of the top eight business books in 2014.

Nici Jupp

Following her Business and Finance degree, Nici’s career started in telecoms, where she rapidly progressed to senior management positions across sales, marketing and business development. She ran a number of due diligence teams across Europe which led to the acquisition of multiple internet business.  Having moved on from telecoms to  business consultancy projects in a range of sectors, Nici now leads the Rialto executive search sister company ‘Talent Gateway’ to offer a unique response to an outdated recruitment model. Talent Gateway works with pioneers and visionaries who recognise that finding the right person for their organization in a rapidly changing world needs a new approach. 

Outside of Talent Gateway, Nici is a non-executive on a local NHS CCG board. 

Rob Jupp

Rob’s background is in telecommunications, and his 20 year career in two multinational telecoms providers spanned roles in engineering, marketing, business development, and sales leadership. His key achievements were in the area of channel transformation, working closely with partner organisations of all sizes to drive sales growth. He has been a director of Rialto’s executive search sister company, Talent Gateway since 2012 working with clients to think creatively about talent acquisition.

Rob originally qualified as an electronic engineer, and now holds professional qualifications in marketing and an MBA from Henley business school.

Paul Keaney

'Paul has retail operations and strategic experience spanning more than 25 years - both field and corporate office based, across multiple countries. A confident, values-led leader, recognised for creating and developing high performing teams, in turn delivering sustainable and consistently improved value for shareholders.

Particularly motivated by turnarounds and new ventures, specialising in convenience food retailing.

Lesley Lindberg

Lesley has 25 years marketing and strategy experience across B2C and B2B companies.  Holding senior and board level marketing roles at Williams Lea, PaperlinX, Hertz and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines working in the UK and abroad and in national, regional and global roles.    At her best as the architect of actionable marketing strategies and plans including developing and delivering new products, services and brands to market, building differentiation and loyalty and delivering improved sales effectiveness.

Tricia Malone

With a commercial background gained in the finance sector, Tricia has run large businesses in retail and corporate finance. Latterly, her blue-chip career focussed on performance coaching at senior levels. She has since coached directors and senior managers from numerous industry backgrounds in both the private, public and third sectors.

Dr John Mervyn-Smith

A chartered clinical psychologist and PHD scholar, John has been assessing and coaching c-suite executives and their teams in leading organisations for 24 years.  Assignments have taken him to 20 countries around the world working in the areas of leadership development, managing stakeholder relationships, the management of power, organisational politics, influence and personal impact.  He has a reputation for considered judgement, insight and rigour when it comes to assessing individuals and teams, pragmatism when it comes to coaching and development.  John  has been a guest lecturer at the IOD, INSEAD and The Cranfield School of Management. George Mystkowski

George has predominantly worked in the private sector throughout his career including nearly 18 years in two high service level FTSE25 organisations. He has worked in roles at both national and multinational levels.  Since 2006, he has built two independent businesses whilst simultaneously working as a change management specialist supporting clients to focus on reaching their objectives effectively and efficiently, by dynamically bringing together teams’ know-how and creativity in the pursuit of step changes in performance.

Chris Roebuck

Chris Roebuck is a Senior Director at Rialto, Visiting Professor of Transformational Leadership at Cass Business School and advisor to a select group of forward thinking organisations. He was formerly Global Head of Leadership at UBS, where his work is now part of a Harvard Business School Case Study. Chris has worked with organisations as diverse as HSBC, RBS, the UK National Health Service, international law firms, and London Underground to the Myanmar Red Cross and Chinese Space Programme. He has been on the HR Most Influential Thinkers list annually since 2010, been interviewed over 200 times on TV and quoted in many global publications on leadership issues. Peter Ryding

A serial CEO and Chairman whose career included Exxon, Mars, EMI and 3i before becoming a turnaround and transformation specialist and a top coach to CXOs.

Dr Teresa Simpkin

An experienced leader and a forward thinking academic and a trusted advisor.  A compelling facilitator and educator, Terri is practised at envisioning, creating and delivering evidenced based responses to complex organisational challenges.

Terri brings to her role over a decade of successful consulting experience, having specialised in strategic human resources leadership work with private enterprise, Australian state, federal governments, industry associations and public entities.  She has delivered workforce and workplace research to inform government policy and broad ranging investigations into labour, skills and capability needs across multiple sectors.

With a long-standing capacity for excellence in education and leadership programme design, she has created and delivered development programmes, bespoke strategic management training and creative workshops to address specific workplace demands in the public and private sectors.  She is the co-author of the world’s only Master’s level course in Data Centre Leadership and Management and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Gail Smith

Originally qualifying in Marketing, Gail went on to work successfully for global organisations through her early career in Search, culminating in owning her own boutique Search and Selection Consultancy.

She has since coached directors and senior managers from industrial, financial services, technology and academia spanning the private, public and third sectors, acting as a sounding board or thought partner for senior leaders by providing challenge, clarity of thinking, space for reflection and insights from her own experience and that of others.

Ian Stobie

Ian leads the Rialto Predictive Analytics business practice which assists clients to model and understand their Human Capital and Customer data better and how it can be applied to create efficiency, profitability and change.  He has pioneered a number of new technologies in the people management field during his 25 year career, which includes the creation and delivery of Oracle’s global Payroll and HR systems in over 40 countries.  He has set up and helped launch various  cloud-based HR applications and service businesses, and advises organisations on how to use technology to create value through differentiated propositional and delivery offerings.

Simon Walker

Simon is an expert in future of work and leadership.
His particular interest is the impact of technology and social media on the world of work and business, and in how this affects behaviours, effective leadership and organisational design. 

He also draws from other first-hand leadership experience both is extreme sport and business. He has led teams on arctic expeditions and round the world yacht races, most notably as skipper of Toshiba in the BT Global Challenge round the world race where he finished second, the youngest skipper in the fleet.

Ray Warren

Ray has over 20 years of international business experience working with large multinational organisations. He was CFO of Global IT Solutions at Electrolux and held several international Finance Director posts with Diageo Plc. His work as a senior finance executive in these organisations has allowed him to build a broad commercial knowledge and a wide ranging network.

Ray’s coaching experience over the last 10 years covers a broad range of clients from FTSE companies through privately owned organisations to NGO’s, in the UK, Europe, India, North Africa, Central Africa and the Middle East.. This includes organisations such as Marks and Spencer, HSBC, Virgin and NGOs such as the Aga Khan Foundation and Women’s World Bank Network.

Janet Waters

Janet is an experienced executive coach, learning consultant and facilitator of leadership, change, management development and action learning, having qualified in coaching from Henley Business School.   She also has extensive background experience in management, leadership and organisational development both in the UK and Internationally, having worked in a commercial environment managing large contracts in the UK and internationally as well as holding senior leader and executive board member positions within government.

David Willden

David is a Senior Director at Rialto as well as CEO of Breakthrough Practices, LLC based in Seattle.  He has led numerous business transformations / turnarounds, managed large consulting practices and has worked as a senior management adviser to top government officials and consulted extensively with federal organisations, Fortune 100 companies and world-wide non-profit organisations.

He has worked as an executive to Larry H. Miller (owner of 100+ businesses, including the Utah Jazz NBA team), Cap Gemini Consulting and, Franklin Covey.

In 2014 he chaired and inaugurated the World Strategy Week 2014 that brought together top strategy thought leaders and executives from around the world.  He is also on the Board of Directors for the Association of Strategic Planning.
